Elaine Greenfield, 80, of Waupun, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at The Christian Homestead in Waupun.
Elaine was born August 1, 1935 in the town of Alto, the daughter of Edwin and Mary Loomans Vant Hoff. On October 14, 1955 she married Trayton Greenfield at Alto Reformed Church in Alto. Following their marriage the couple resided and farmed in the town of Alto for 53 years and moved to Waupun in 2008. Over the years Elaine was also employed by Fairwater Canning Company and Federal Mogul in Waupun. Elaine was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Waupun. She loved her family very much and enjoyed family get-togethers.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Trayton Greenfield of Waupun; 6 children: Donna (Steve) Katsma of Randolph, Keith (Lois) Greenfield of Waupun, Kurt (Connie) Greenfield of Waupun,
Kelvin (Vicky) Greenfield of Waupun, Delaine (Steve) Pluim of Waupun, and Dawn (Brad) Van Ruiswyk of Waupun; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Marcella Vande Berg of Brandon, and Carol (Germaine) Navis of Waupun; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters: Evelyn Navis, and an infant sister, Eleanor; and a grandson, Bryant Pluim.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Funeral services for Elaine Greenfield will be held Monday, April 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Craig Van Hill officiating.
Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery.
A memorial fund is being established in memory of Elaine.
