Edith Pluim, 92, a resident of the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center of Waupun, died Saturday evening, January 12, 2013.
Edith was born March 24, 1920 in Chicago the daughter of Peter and Flora Mueller Molter. On October 26, 1941 she married Milton Pluim. The couple resided in Waupun and later in life in Brandon. While living in Waupun she was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church and most recently a member of Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon. Edith sang in the church choirs.
Edith is survived by nieces, nephews, and a cousin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; a brother, Andrew Molter; five sisters, Jean Carpen, Lena Doornbos, Grace Redeker, Theresa Bos, and Florence Hull.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives of Edith Pluim may call on the family at the chapel on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Edith Pluim will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center’s chapel with Rev. Wick Hubers and Rev. John Tilstra officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery.
