Earl Voskuil, 84, of Waupun, died Friday, November 23, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Earl was born September 11, 1928 in Waupun the son of Ray and Dorothy Schouten Voskuil. On August 19, 1950 he married Marie Majewski in Fond du Lac. Following their marriage the couple resided in the Waupun area until 1972 and then moved to Brandon. Earl was a farmer and also employed by Hanefeld Trucking in Burnett for over 30 years. Earl was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Earl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie Voskuil of Brandon; six children, Sandee (Dan) Carter of Ft. Collins, CO, Steve (Beth) Voskuil of Waupun, Susen Hammen (fiancé, Randy Ziegler) of Fairwater, Sheila (Ronald) Davidson of Brandon, Brien (Maureen) Voskuil of Milwaukee, and Sheryl Lau (fiancé, Rich Finely) of Ripon; five grandchildren, Katie, Nicholas, Tyler, Tara, and Erin Voskuil; a brother, Ronald (Eileen) Voskuil of Oshkosh; and a sister, Ardell Navis of Waupun.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Voskuil; and his parents.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Earl Voskuil will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon with Rev. Bob Rosenberg officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
