Donna J. Grams, 82, of Waupun, died Friday, September 25, 2015 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Donna was born July 8, 1933 in Arpin, WI the daughter of George and Alverta Sipe Hoesly. Donna married Donald E. Grams on May 28, 1955 in Wisconsin Rapids. The couple lived in Waupun most of their married lives. Donna enjoyed working for the Waupun School District coordinating the school census. She also worked at Dooley’s Orchards, helping visitors select apples and enjoy the harvest. Donna visited many new Waupun residents, sharing information and gifts from the welcome wagon. She also loved watching her children participate in Waupun athletics. Donna was an active member of Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun and worked on many church activities.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Jill (David) Pluim of Hartford; three sons: Greg (Mary) Grams of DeForest, David (Jacqueline) Grams of Rocky River, OH, and Jon Grams of Madison; five grandchildren: Steve (Stephanie) Grams, Chris Grams, Emma and Katie Pluim, and Emily Enslow; a great-granddaughter, Aurelia Grams, a great-grandson, Truman Grams; and a sister, Kareen Benkowski.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents, a brother; and an infant daughter.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10 am. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Donna Grams will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun with Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
