Denise Jackson-Buchholz, 62, of Waupun, passed away January 17, 2021 at her home.
Denise was born September 25, 1958 to Dale and Margaret “Peggy” Smalling Buchholz. Denise went to Waupun area schools and graduated in 1976. After graduating she obtained her associate’s degree in accounting and worked as senior accountant for 16 years. After being told she wasn't able to have children she was blessed with a son and a daughter who she loved very much. In her free time she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She made numerous visits to Tennessee to visit family which meant a great deal to her. When she wasn't spending time with her family she enjoyed watching the Packers and Harry Potter marathons. Denise sure loved her coffee. She was such a caring person and always put others before herself.
Denise is survived by one son, Chris (Kayla) Jackson of Waupun; a daughter, Crystal Hepler of Waupun; two siblings: a brother, Mitch (Brenda) Buchholz of Withee, and a sister, Elizabeth Doherty of Waukesha; three grandchildren: Jeremiah and Anaiah Jackson, and Alice Hepler; Denise was also a loving Aunt to Jake “Dude” Buchholz, Lindsay “Linny” Buchholz (Wayne) Moore, Melissa and Chet Rickerman, and Katie.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents; a life-long best friend, Lowanda Marlow; and Don and Beverly Paske.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
