Delores Ganz

Delores Ganz, 89, of Waupun, died peacefully Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Delores was born March 21, 1927 in Waupun the daughter of Ervin and Dorothy Minnis Andrews. Delores was a 1945 graduate of Waupun High School and then moved to Fond du Lac where she worked at Hills Department Store. On December 20, 1947 she married Doug Ganz in Milwaukee. The couple resided in Waupun all of their married lives where they owned Ganz Electric from 1962 to 1994. Delores was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun.

Delores is survived by three sons: Gary (Melody) Ganz of Round Lake Beach, IL, Bill (Sheryl) Ganz of Waupun, and Doug (Jane) Ganz of Cambridge; a daughter, Julie (Dan) Hesprich of Lomira; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Virginia) Andrews of Waupun; a sister, Pauline Gedlinske of Iowa City, IA; along with several nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Doug; and a daughter at birth, Cathy Lynn.



Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.




A celebration of Delores Ganz’s life will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Dennis Overlien officiating.
