Darlene June (Myers) Heideman, 97, lifelong resident of the Waupun area, passed away Thursday March 25, 2021 at the Beaver Dam Hospital from a brain aneurysm. She was born on May 18, 1923, to Sarah Ann (Sadie) Talbert and Jacob Meyers.
Darlene is survived by her three children: son Harris Loomans, daughter Tamara Loomans and son Timothy Loomans; five grandchildren: Nicole (Bob) Krahn, Adam (Rachel) Loomans, Tiffany Loomans, Timmy (Andrea) Loomans, Savanah (Andrew) Mouw; fifteen great grandchildren: Brianna Krahn, Aidan Krahn, Esme Loomans, Elena Loomans, Colton (Courtney) Loomans, Tianna Loomans, Brennon Loomans, Oceanah Loomans, Mersadies Loomans, Hannah Loomans, Madeline Loomans, Josie Laura Loomans, Evey Mouw, Ryden Mouw, Ashlyn Mouw; one great great grandchild: Joellee Kay Loomans.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents Sadie and Jacob Myers, her husband Harris (Bud) Robert Loomans Sr, her second husband Jerry Heideman, and her 13 brothers and sisters. She was the last of the Meyer family to pass away.
Darlene was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun. She worked at Rolling Meadows Nursing home in Fond du Lac for years before retiring. She loved to cook, crochet and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing storyteller and had a great sense of humor. Darlene is now at peace and will be remembered by all of those who loved her.
Her family will hold a celebration of life this summer to honor her memory.
