Dale Kastein

Dale Kastein, 80, of Brandon, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at Anchor Communities II in Brandon.

Dale was born May 17, 1942 the son of Roger and Mabel Daane Kastein. After high school Dale ran the family dairy farm in Brandon his entire life. Dale loved hunting, fishing, playing softball, and going to his family’s sporting events. He was a member of Alto Reformed Church where he served as a Deacon. Once a year he enjoyed taking the family to the rodeo in Manawa.

Dale is survived by his son, Keith Kastein; three grandchildren: Dylan, Isabel, and Gavin Kastein; sister, Darlene (Glen) Kamphuis; and nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Kastein; and his parents.




Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.



Funeral services for Dale Kastein will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Alto Reformed Church with Pastor Doug Shotsky officiating.

Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery.
