Cornelia Van Loo, 82, of Waupun, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Madison, WI.



Cornelia was born August 8, 1930, the daughter of Richard and Grace Schaalma Vander Woude. On March 21, 1950 she married Raymond Van Loo in Randolph, WI. Cornelia loved to do embroidery and puzzles. She helped on the family farm. Cornelia was also an active member of the First Reformed Church and a Sunday school teacher. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Cornelia is survived by her husband, Raymond of Waupun; four children, Robert (Rhonda) Van Loo of Watertown, Ruth (Tom) Amberson of Beaver Dam, Cynthia (Douglas) Helmrick of Plover, WI, and Mark (Ann) Van Loo of Beaver Dam; a brother, Ted Vander Woude; two sisters, Irene (Alvin) Van Loo and Catherine (Walter) Riel; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 9 great-step-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Jerry Gibson.

Cornelia was preceded in death by a daughter, Eleanor Gibson; two brothers, William Vander Woude and Peter Vander Woude; and a step-grandson, Richard Helmrick.


Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Monday at church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Services:
Funeral services for Cornelia Van Loo will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at First Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Bob James officiating.

Burial:
Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery.
