Colleen F. Ten Pass, 53, of rural Markesan, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at her home in her daughter’s arms.
Colleen was born May 5, 1959 in Waupun the daughter of Milton and Ardell Voskuil Navis. Colleen graduated from Waupun High School in 1977. On February 21, 1987 she married Galvin Ten Pass and the couple farmed together in the Burnett area for many years before relocating to their present address. Both Colleen and Galvin were recently hired by Fairwater Canning Company. Colleen was a member of Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Beaver Dam. She enjoyed many crafts including sewing. Colleen was always happy to make home cooked meals for family and friends.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Galvin of Markesan; a daughter, Samantha Ten Pass (fiancé Rene Muzquiz); two sisters, Kathy Scheuers of Waupun, and Yvonne (Dale) Respalje of Brandon; a brother, Randy (Norrie) Navis of Waupun; her mother, Ardell Navis of Waupun; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father, Milton and her brother, Wayne.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Colleen Ten Pass with be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Elder Orville Lont officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton.
