Clarence H. Zarndt, 94, a resident of King Veteran’s Home in King, WI, died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.
Clarence was born October 2, 1920 in Atwater in the township of Chester, Dodge County, the son of Harry and Alma Luedke Zarndt. Clarence resided on the north shore of Fox Lake for many years and moved to Waupun in 1986. He was employed for 41 years at National Rivet & Manufacturing in Waupun as a shipping clerk. Clarence was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Europe, Northern Luzon, and the Philippines during WWII. He was a member of American Legion Post 210 in Waupun and Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun.
Clarence is survived by his close friends, Jackie, Erik, Shannon, and Mallory Blankenberg; and Janice and Howard Ferry.
He was preceded in death by his special friend, Ethel Willemsen.

Friends and relatives of Clarence Zarndt may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Clarence Zarndt will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Mike Stock officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at North Burnett Cemetery where American Legion Post 210 of Waupun will provide military honors.
