Christopher S. Liesch, 60, of Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 27, 2016.
Chris was born in Appleton, WI the son of Thomas and Dawn (Siebert) Liesch. Chris enlisted in the US Army when he was 17 and fought in Vietnam for two years. Upon his return he became a welder of tanks and caterpillar parts. On June 11, 1994 he married Vicki Grunke-Ceman at their home. Chris was always known for being a helpful neighbor. He loved to tell jokes and stories, listen to music, and enjoyed the outdoors. Most importantly, Chris loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Chris is survived by his wife, Vicki Liesch of Beaver Dam; a daughter, Heather (Travis) Trader of Menasha; two step-daughters: Missy (Todd) Bille of Waupun, and Tracy (Will) McGarry of Markesan; 10 grandchildren: Kesy, Sebastian, Logan, Alyvia, Brenden, Abby, Michelle, Breanna, Eli, and Caleb; a sister, Kerry (Dennis) Clegg of Hortonville; two half-brothers: Brett (Melissa) Liesch of Oshkosh, and Brad (Katie) Liesch of Berlin; and step-mother, Mary Liesch of Hortonville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
