Charles E. Buchholz, 64, of Waupun, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 25, 2014.




Charles was born July 4, 1949 in Markesan the son of Edwin A. and Mary Hughes Buchholz. On May 6, 1972 he married Virginia Wallintin in Reeseville. Following their marriage the couple resided in Oakfield for five years prior to moving to Waupun. Charlie was a farmer all of his life and worked for Oakfield Enterprise for 42 years. He also did custom farm work. Charlie enjoyed helping others and visiting with people. Charlie was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Virginia Buchholz of Waupun; a daughter, Jennifer Buchholz of Brownsville; a step-grandson, Michael Keel of Fond du Lac; his brothers: Roland (Joyce) Buchholz of Waupun, Leonard (Karen) Buchholz of Tijeras, NM, Wayne Buchholz of Waupun, and Carl (special friend Marge) Buchholz of Lino Lakes, MN; his sisters: Gloria (Jeff) Etheridge of Appleton, and Joan (Bill) Schmidt of Fox Lake; his mother-in-law, Marie Wallintin of Waupun; and many nieces and nephews.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin A. and Mary Buchholz; and his father-in-law, Bernard Wallintin.





Visitation:


Friends and relatives of Charles Buchholz may call on the family on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 until the time of service.



Services:


Funeral services for Charles Buchholz will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun with Rev. Michael Wild officiating.



Entombment:


Entombment will take place at The Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.
