Brian Allen Roska

Brian Roska, 63, of Waupun, passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday, January 9, 2023. 

Brian was born April 23, 1959 in Port Washington, WI to James and Carol Anderson Roska. Brian attended Ozaukee High School and graduated in 1977. After high school he always worked on the farm. On June 23, 1990 he married Peggie Smit in Randolph. The couple then moved to a farm in Brandon. In 1987 he and Peggie started Roska Livestock Trucking as well as owning and operating a farm in Brandon, and retired in 2018 and moved to Waupun. 

Brian is survived by his wife of 32 years, Peggie; daughter, Jessica (Jeremy) Giese; son, Josh Roska; three grandchildren: Allen, Amber, and Madyson; mother, Carol Roska; brother, Randy (Wendy) Roska; brother-in-law, Cal Smit; sisters-in-law: Perle (Dale) Macheel and Sharon (Eugene) Damsteegt; and many nieces and nephews. 

Brian was preceded in death by his father, James Roska. 

Funeral services for Brian Roska will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Barry Lang officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
