Beverly Lammers, 66, of rural Brandon, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
Bev was born July 21, 1951 in Elkhorn, WI the daughter of George and Leona Los Sterken. In 1969 she graduated from Delavan-Darien High School. She attended Dordt College for two years in Sioux Center, IA. On December 23, 1971 she married Eugene Lammers at Alto Christian Reformed Church. The couple farmed together all of their married lives. Bev enjoyed quilting, baking, and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon where she taught Sunday School.
Bev is survived by her husband, Eugene Lammers of Brandon; a daughter, Shelly (Josh) O’Leary of Alto; two sons: David (Katy) Lammers of Byron, and Eric (Bridget) Lammers of Brandon; 12 grandchildren: Austin, Becca, Dawson, Madisen, Kennedy, Lucy, Lilly, Cora, Leona, Hope, Paige, and Henry; brothers and sisters: Maurice (Linda) Sterken, Phylis (Larry) Gunnink, Warren (Jeanne) Sterken, Robert (Tammy) Sterken, Lynette (Phil) Loomans, Betty (Reuben) Hopp, and Rich (Carol) Vande Zande; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Sterken; and two nephews: Jason Sterken and Rob Vande Zande, Jr.
Friends and relatives of Beverly Lammers may call on the family on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Funeral services for Beverly Lammers will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon with Rev. John Tilstra officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Mound Cemetery in the town of Alto.
