Betty Meyer

Betty Meyer (82) of Milwaukee passed away unexpectedly at Marvin’s Manor in Waupun, WI on May 30, 2024.

Betty was born March 8, 1942, the daughter of Earl and Lorraine Becker Meyer. She attended Custer High School and lived in Milwaukee most of her life. She worked at, and retired from, Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Services. Betty really enjoyed spending time with her family, watching NASCAR, and watching wrestling. Another enjoyment was having long talks with her sister, Lois. Betty loved to spoil everyone. She was always thought of as a second mom, always kind and caring and putting others before herself. She was loved by most that met her. Her smile could light up a room and her laugh was very contagious!  

Betty is survived by her sister, Lois Seefeldt; nephew: Bob (Heather) Reagan; niece: Lisa (Jim) Premke; great-nieces and nephew: Jennifer Reagan, Brandon Premke, and Kaitlin Premke; one great-great-nephew, Percy Islas; and her friend, Mark.

Betty was preceded in death by both of her parents; and her two sisters, Joyce Ball and Karen (Bob) Reagan.  

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
