Beatrice “Beaty” Behnke, 96, a resident of Liberty House in Fond du Lac, died Wednesday evening, February 20, 2013.
Beaty was born in Fond du Lac on February 8, 1917, the daughter of Emery and Matilda Burg Barbeau. On July 11, 1964 she married Leon Behnke in Fond du Lac. Beaty was employed at Kiekhaefer Corporation in Fond du Lac for several years.
Beaty is survived by a niece, Mary Barbeau of Fond du Lac; and two step-grandchildren, Charmaine Holz of Waupun, and Cheryl Klebs of Menasha.
Beaty was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Behnke, in 1980; and a brother, Richard Barbeau.
