Arthur Earnest Miller

Arthur E. Miller, age 88, passed away quietly at his home in Randolph on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016. A funeral service for Arthur will be on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at 1:00pm, at the Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home in Cambria, WI, with Rev. Clay Salmela officiating. Relatives and friends may call on the family from 11:00am until the time of service. Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Randolph Village Hall community room. Arthur was born on July 3, 1928 to Edward and Eliza (Van Loo) Miller in Waupun, WI. Arthur worked various jobs with his brothers throughout southern Wisconsin. Included were the several farms he worked with his step-father. Arthur married Julliene Martin on June 28, 1969 and they were blessed with three sons. From the time he moved to Fox Lake until it’s closing, Arthur worked for Rockwell of Randolph. Following this he worked for Green Giant/Pillsbury in Beaver Dam as a forklift driver in can supply and the freezer corn pack. After retirement he enjoyed working part-time for Jung Seed Co. in Randolph. Arthur is survived by his wife of 47 years, Julliene; his sons, Arthur E. (Ruth) Miller Jr. of Madison, Kevin O. Miller of Randolph, and Clinton D. (Jenee) Miller, of Juneau; seven grandchildren, Tika Bott of Fond du Lac, Eden and Spencer Miller of Madison, Daniel Miller of Mauston, Gwyndolyn Miller of Randolph, Makenna and Nikolas Miller of Juneau; two great-grandchildren Toshe and Eevee of Fond du Lac; his sisters, Dorothy Tolsma, of Brandon and Evelyn (Jim) Torzewski of Fond du Lac; his brother, Melvin (Sippy) Miller of Bristol; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene(Willard) Mays of Columbus, Dennis (Janice) Martin of Randolph, Kathleen (Robert) Smits of Waupun and Dean (Stephanie) Martin of Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Joe Van Buren, his mother and father- in-law, Doug and Ruth Martin; brothers and sisters Eleanore, Edwin(Josephine), James, Arnold, John(Wilma)and Oscar; brothers-in law Douglas D. Martin and Paul Tolsma.
