Annette Eleece Zoschke, 105, of Waupun, went to her heavenly home Sunday, October 17, 2021.

Annette was born September 5, 1916 on a farm near Brandon, the daughter of Henry and Matilda Gybers Bossenbroek. Annette attended elementary school in Brandon and graduated from Waupun High School in 1934. On September 2, 1938 she married Paul Zoschke. She worked for Wisconsin Telephone Company for 25 years and for Union-Congregational Church as secretary for 11 years. Annette was a charter member of Trinity Reformed Church where she taught Bible Class and Sunday School and was active in the women’s guild. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, and ceramics. She was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary. She volunteered in prison ministry, at Marsh Haven Nature Center, and the blood bank.

Annette is survived by her three sons and two daughters: Rev. Paul (Barbara) Zoschke of Fond du Lac, Dr. David (Judy) Zoschke of Orono, MN, Kathleen (Steve) Elgersma of Scandinavia, WI, Daniel Zoschke of Waupun, and Suzanne Dulmes of Sheboygan; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and special friends: Carol Leonard and Jane Peachey.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul on September 10, 1992; five sisters, four brothers; a granddaughter; and two grandsons.



Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Wearing masks would be appreciated.



Funeral services for Annette Zoschke will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Brent Matzen officiating.


Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton.
