Anna Lee Schwender

Anna Lee Schwender, 92, of Waupun, formerly of Shoreham New York, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at her home with her children by her side.

Anna was a loving and caring mother. She was a Navy nurse during the Korean conflict, Master Gardener, loved to read and to bird watch. She will be missed so much by her children, grandchildren, and friends. 

Anna is survived by her son, Stephen (Jane) Chene, her daughter, Georgia (James Simone) Schwender, and her son, James (Becky Weber) Schwender; five grandchildren: Cortney Chene, Michaela Simone, Nicholas Simone, Dane Schwender, and Eric Schwender; and a sister, Marguerite Pennington.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George. 

Visitation for Anna Schwender will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 1-2 p.m at Alexander Rothwell Funeral Home https://www.alexanderrothwell.com/the  in Wading River, New York.
