Ann Lemmenes

Anna “Ann” Lemmenes, 98, of Waupun, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Christian Home in Waupun.

Ann was born January 31, 1920 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Ryan and Flora Triemstra DeVries. On October 12, 1948 she married Elton Lemmenes at First Christian Reformed Church in Waupun. Ann was a member of Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon. She was a member of the church choir and Women’s Guild, taught Sunday School, and enjoyed going to Bible studies.

Ann is survived by a son, David Lemmenes and his children: Kathy (Adam) Kuhlman (Ava, Griffin, Chase, and Betsy) and Thom (Gennie) Lemmenes (Jack and Max), a son, Lance (Geri) Lemmenes and their children: Adam (Elizabeth) Lemmenes (Scarlett), Erica (Ben) Dickerson (Lincoln), and Dr. Ali (Zach) Wittchow; a son, Cal (Karen) Lemmenes and their children: Dr. Ryan (Jill) Lemmenes (Reed, Grant, and Miles), Jennifer (Bob) Buchholz (Anna and Abigail), and Andrea (Cory) Kwakkel (Audra and Holland); a son, Paul Lemmenes; a sister, Theresa Buteyn; sisters-in-law, Annabelle DeVries and Cora Hemp; and brother-in-law, Noel Follmer.

Ann was preceded in death by husband, Elton Lemmenes in 1987; a son, Timothy Lemmenes in 1976; parents, Ryan and Flora DeVries; three brothers: Ryan DeVries, Bert DeVries, and John DeVries; and five sisters: Sarah Stiemsma, Clara DeVries, Clara Levey, Dorthy Perton, and Ramona Mulder.



Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service.



Funeral services for Ann Lemmenes will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Dennis Overlien officiating.



A private burial will be held.
