Agnes Meyer, 98, of Waupun, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at Pleasant Park Place in Ripon.
Agnes was born July 9, 1920 in Fox Lake the daughter of Frank and Tillie Bauer Heuer. On May 29, 1943 she married Paul Meyer in Fox Lake. Following their marriage the couple farmed in the town of Trenton for several years and in 1963 moved to the town of Chester where they continued to farm. Over the years Agnes was employed at Helen’s Kitchen, Dooley’s Apple Orchard and she also baby sat. She was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun where she was past president of the Altar Society and a member of D of I. Agnes was also a crochet leader in the local 4-H.
Agnes is survived by her children: Kathy Kienow of West Baraboo, WI, Edward Meyer of Burnett, Charles (Lois) Meyer of Waterloo, WI, and Mary (Charles) Komosa of Waupun; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 21 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 2011; her brothers, Albert and Henry Heuer; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Meyer; son-in-law, John Kienow; and a step-grandchild.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Funeral services for Agnes Meyer will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 12 noon at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun with Rev. John Radetski officiating.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waupun.
