Alfred Van Loo

Alfred Van Loo, 95, of Waupun, died Friday, November 25, 2016 at Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in King, WI.

Alfred was born February 5, 1921 in the town of Waupun, the son of Cornelius and Lucy Hopp Van Loo. On June 30, 1964 he married Alice Van Galen in Waupun. The couple resided in Waupun all their married lives. Alfred was self-employed in the home improvement and painting business. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII in five campaigns. He was a life member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 6709 of Waupun and American Legion Post 210 of Waupun.

Alfred is survived by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; a brother, Ray; and a sister, Hazel Schouten.



Graveside services for Alfred Van Loo will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun where American Legion Post 210 of Waupun will provide military honors.
