Sharon “Sharie” Lee Parsons, 72, of Waupun, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at her home.
Sharie was born October 2, 1941 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Clarence and Florence Voigt Frank. Sharie graduated from Waupun High School in 1959. She was employed by Dr. Egan, Ripon Cookie Factory, and The State Bank of Waupun. On July 18, 1964 she married Dennis Parsons at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun. In 1968, Sharie was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. Sharie and Dennis owned The Trophy Shop for a number of years. She was a life-long member of Pella Lutheran Church.
Sharie is survived by her husband, Dennis Parsons; a son, Stephen (Kim) Parsons of Brandon; two granddaughters, Alexandra Lee and Jordan Lyn; and cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Sharie Parsons will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun with Rev. Mike Stock officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery.
