John E. Mezera, 64, of Schulenberg, TX died Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
John was born June 2, 1949 in Prairie du Chien, WI, the son of Howard and Emmeleen (Conway) Mezera. John graduated from Waupun High School in 1967, and then graduated from United Technical Institute of Milwaukee in 1968. John resided in Texas the past 30 years. Throughout his employment years John was employed in roofing and construction, and later worked for Waste Management.
John is survived by his mother, Emmeleen Mezera of Randolph; four brothers, Howard (Katherine) Mezera of Oshkosh, Paul (Maureen) Mezera of Campbellsport, Greg (Barb) Mezera of Oshkosh, and Dick Mezera of Waupun; four sisters, Madelyn (Tim) Shea of Fox Lake, Joan (Glen) Deno of Manitowoc, Mary (Mike) Thompson of Rock, MI, and Barbara (Ken) Kaufmann of LaCrosse; along with nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his father, Howard Mezera.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Memorial services for John E. Mezera will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Fr. Michael Wild officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Annunciation Cemetery.
