Delbert Leroy Schlaitzer, 80, of Waupun, died January 27, 2013.
Delbert was born February 22, 1932 in Brandon the son of Albert and Elsie Kath Schlaitzer. Delbert was a machinist for National Rivet in Waupun and retired in 1994. He served his country with the US Army in the Korean War.
Delbert is survived by sisters, Norma (Russell) Schultz and Bette Lienhard; a niece, Jean Marie (Dave) Przekurat; nephews, David (Karla) Schultz, Glen (Iris) Lienhard, Mark Lienhard (Kris Mathison), and Steven Lienhard; great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces; and many other relatives and friends.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Loran Lienhard.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Delbert Schlaitzer will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Kelly James Leary officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun where the American Legion Post 210 of Waupun will perform military rites.
